Benefits of Website Localization

You’ve built a great website and spent bucketful of cash on web marketing to ensure your site is the most visited on the planet. Your website appears on first position on the search engines in every country. But, even though you want to cater to an international customer base you tend to receive orders mostly from the UK or the US. Where is the problem?

The answer is simple. To sell in foreign markets you need to speak in the language of your customer. Even though your customers find your website, they find it difficult to understand your offer, and so they use a local site.

So if you want to expand your business and reach the international market to maximize your profits it is almost imperative to have a multi-lingual website. Your website should be tailored to suit the foreign audience and speak the language of your customers. It should be accessible, usable and culturally suitable to the target audience.

More and more companies today are recognising this fact that the key step in successfully approaching and selling to international customers is through website localization.

The main benefits of website localization are listed below.

Maximise you global business potential

Statistics shows that Web users are four times more likely to purchase from a site that communicates in the customer’s language (www.idc.com). Over 100 million people access the Internet in a language other than English. Over 50% of Web Users speak a native language other than English (www.glreach.com). Visitors stay for twice as long, if a website is in their own language (Forrester Research). So imagine how many customers are still untapped, if you have a website only in one language. Maximise your business potential by reaching an international audience through website localization.

Increase the size of your market

Most Internet users will are comfortable with the website that presents the company information, products or services in their native language. By having a multi-lingual website you can access potentially millions of new customers and thus increase your revenues.

Build credibility as a global player

Remember, if you do not take an action now, your competitors might win the game. A competitors multi-lingual website will gain more credibility and indirectly more customers. Moreover, Localization of your website demonstrates that you are a truly international player who value its customers preferences. It shows that you understand and respect people’s choices, and strive to meet their expectations.

Since it is so crucial for your business you must ensure that you entrust this task only to an expert who not only translates your website’s content, but also takes care of the cultural variations.

If you’ve got something really explosive to say, say it and rev up your showpiece with the PowerPoint presentation tips you’ve hoarded from various sources. But no matter how much you’ve loaded up, it’s still your game on the line. But practice makes perfect.

Why Dazzle Them With Your PowerPoint Presentation?

Convincing the boss, your co-workers, and clients that you haven’t been mentally hibernating can be tricky. If you’ve got something new to say about sales, customer service, company spending, and boosting efficiency in the workplace, show them what you’ve got. Your presentation for your next web conference will depend on how you’ve maximized the PowerPoint presentation tips to get your message across.

No matter how hot your piece is, when you haven’t tried out the PowerPoint presentation tips, your efforts will fall flat with a sickly whimper. Why? On top of the tips, you’ve got to practice saying less to say more. But why the need to dazzle your audience? Here’s why:

1. You want your audience to get your message right on target.

2. You want the introduced idea to be accepted on its merits.

3. You need to cut costs in the wake of the sluggish dollar.

4. You have a good project that’ll rake in money.

5. You want to be in your boss’s hot list for promotions.

6. You want to show off, and rightly so.

7. You’ve got to maximize time and money spent for your web conference.

There may be more reasons that are personal, but the thing is getting your message across loud and clear to avoid confusion, project implementation delays, and lost revenues. But dazzling them with savvy from the bag of tricks you’ve acquired from your PowerPoint presentation tips is your hidden agenda. You might just get the applause and the promotion too.

Get the Cutting Edge from Power Point Presentation Tips

So what are those PowerPoint presentation tips that make your argument a cut above the rest? Here’s what:

1. Avoid long sentences per slide. Keep it to a minimum of 7-10 lines. Remember you are showing not only words, but other graphics. Just use keywords and phrases, instead of long sentences. Your boss does not want to be encumbered with both words and data or images vying for his attention.

2. Your text font should be big enough, but must not go beyond 20-32 font size. Use bullets to make your presentation crisp. Your titles should be within the 32 -50 font size.

3. Limit the number of slides. People cannot catch your drift if you’ve got so many slides clamoring for their short attention spans. Try to spend at least 45 seconds per slide and don’t rush. Let your ideas sink into the consciousness of your audience. And avoid speaking in a monotone. Put life into your words and pause when it’s necessary. These all add up to hi-powered PowerPoint presentation.

4. Avoid overly artsy slides. Opt for white backgrounds and dark text. It is much more effective and readable in lighted rooms. If you are going to use darkened conference areas, use two-tone color slides.

5. Make judicious use of animations or else risk confusion and distraction from the main piece.

6. Time your presentation. If you are given time limits per presentation, check out how long your PowerPoint presentation will take. Tighten the entire production to meet the requirement.

These PowerPoint presentation tips will help you make a better performance in the coming meeting and all future web conferences. So power up now and be the toast of the town.

For most online business owners, having excellent pay per click marketing campaign is easier to achieve through the services of trusted and reliable PPC providers or PPC search engines. Indeed, there is a big chunk of truth to that. PPC search engine giants like Overture and MSN are really good choices for a PPC campaign. Through the years, PPC search engines have made reputable names for themselves. They have made a large following from small online businesses and wide base of big clients as well. They have worked wonders and miracles to help online businesses gain unsurmountable exposure and help generate more sales for hundreds of products and services.

Just to be different and daring, as what businesses should be, I wonder why don’t online business owners look for other options for their PPC campaigns? By other options, I do not mean that they drop the services of the PPC provider they have come to trust. What I mean by other options is resorting to other modes of availing PPC services. The usual routine would be to go directly to a PPC search engine and avail of its services. I wonder if it is possible to have a middleman to bridge the business and the PPC search engine, like a real estate broker or a car sales representative. The idea may be unpalatable at first glance for it immediately connotes added cost. But if one has an open, unbiased mind about it, there could be added benefits as well. After all, wanting to have more benefits inevitably requires additional inputs or cost. What really matters is that the benefits are greater than the cost.

I brought up this thought of mine to a colleague who knows a lot about the PPC industry. I was relieved when he told me that my idea of a middleman is not at all far-fetched. He actually said that a lot of online businesses are already hiring services of individuals to manage and run their PPC campaigns, affiliate programs, and other online sales and advertising strategies. He also informed me that aside from hiring a middleman, others even hire consultants for their online businesses. He even said that he himself is contemplating on having a consultant for his online apparel business. When I asked him if he already has a name in mind, he was quick to answer Mark J. Welch.

When I shrugged, my colleague then threw back the slightly mocking but funny question, “Are you from the outer space to not know Mark Welch?” Pardon my ignorance of Mark Welch, but yes, I didn’t the guy who is apparently the household name for online marketing management.

Mark Welch, as my colleague educated me, is a big name in online marketing consultancy. He provides consultancy services to online business retailers and companies. He specializes on enforcing results-based marketing campaigns and strategies. By results-based, Welch is only after those strategies that really yield to tangible results or sales. Thus, it is no wonder that Welch is sought-after for his consulting powers in PPC marketing campaigns. Since 1998, he has been servicing big clients and has gained lucrative campaigns through at least 100,000 top search keywords and key phrases. His past PPC clients have testified that 30% to about 50% of their online revenues were from the sales generated by campaigns under Welch’s consultancy. Welch is attested by many as an expert in crucial aspects of a PPC campaign. He is an expert in strategic bidding and balancing of cost and benefits of various bidding rates. He does not always equate a number 1 ranking in search results as the right step to potential high sales. He has the keen ability to analyze biding trends and would often opt for a number two or number three positions in the bidding rank. He specializes on analyzing how many sales should be generated by each dollar paid for every click.

Welch also caters to affiliate program needs. Starting in 1997, his constancy to affiliate program accounts for up to 50% of the revenues earned by his clients. He is also known for making wise stealth and low-profile marketing strategies, which include “captive affiliates.” Welch is also known as an expert in side-channel marketing. In side-channel strategies, Welch would usually advise his clients to complement their PPC campaigns with selling in eBay, Amazon, and others. Welch’s other services cover website designing or redesigning, search engine optimization (SEO), web development, acquisition of content, editing and copy writing, graphic design, and merchandise operations.

So whether it’s a PPC campaign or affiliate program that you are thinking of having, Mark Welch could be the man you need. He may be an added cost but with an outstanding record under his belt, Welch’s expertise is a sure benefit.
